Google delays the latest Android 11 beta release

The company announced that the public beta release of Android 11 will be delayed indefinitely
Google has indefinitely postponed the public beta launch for Android 11, which was scheduled to take place on Wednesday 3 June
"We are excited to tell you more about Android 11, but now is not the time to celebrate," said Google. "We are postponing the June 3rd event and beta release. We'll be back with more on Android 11, soon."

The public beta release was initially scheduled for early May, to coincide with the annual Google I/O developer conference; but as the event was canceled, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the launch was moved to a month later, on June 3rd. Google has not indicated whether the double delay will impact the final release of Android 11, which is expected for Q3 2020

Google seems to have given select users access to a beta version of Android 11 even though it canceled the mobile platform’s beta launch on June 3rd.

With 5G networks and phones becoming more common by the day, Google has revealed how it’ll display 5G network icons on your phones with Android 11.
Google’s updated icons will help users tell the difference between sub-6GHz 5G, mmWave 5G, and LTE Advanced Pro networks. The new iconography will be as follows:

- LTE
- LTE with carrier aggregation (LTE+)
- Advanced pro LTE (5Ge)
- sub-6GHz (5G)
- mmWave (5G+)

Android 11 will make 5G even more confusing ?
America does not want China to dominate 5G mobile networks?
