Protesters break curfew on another night of fury and frustrations over George Floyd's killing

Protests over George Floyd's death continued for a fifth night Saturday with escalating violence and multiple instances of fires in several major cities. Curfews have been enacted in at least 25 cities, including Minneapolis, Philadelphia and Los Angeles.

Tensions flared in cities from New York to Philadelphia to Columbia, S.C., as thousands of people amassed to protest the death of a black man in police custody.

Police have arrested nearly 1,400 people in 17 U.S. cities since Thursday

Police cars were set aflame, freeways were blocked, windows were shattered and authorities deployed tear gas and even rubber bullets.


Which will be Trump reaction now? Will he make a final effort to appeal to black voters?

Google Introduces Google Assistant Voice Match for Some Purchases

Google has been rolling out a new Voice Match setting for voice-enabled purchases of some digital goods. It is available today on Android and even shows up in the Google Assistant app for iOS. Voice Match will enable you to complete purchases using Google Assistant by simply speaking. Android Police confirmed with Google that Voice Match for purchases is a new feature in pilot mode and in limited availability today: After you enable the setting, you probably won’t notice anything has changed, even if you try to make a purchase via the Assistant. We’re told that this early pilot is limited to in-app digital purchases through Google Play and restaurant orders for the time being.
